PEAR_Frontend::singleton()

PEAR_Frontend::singleton() -- Retrieve the frontend object

Synopsis

require_once '/Frontend.php';

PEAR_Frontend_CLI|PEAR_Frontend_Web|PEAR_Frontend_Gtk& PEAR_Frontend::singleton (mixed [$type = null])

Get a single unique copy of the current PEAR frontend object.

string|NULL $type: if being called for the first time, the user can specify the kind of frontend to return. Otherwise, this parameter is ignored, and the existing single frontend is returned.

throws no exceptions thrown

This function can be called statically.
