After you finish selecting fields and customizing a view, you can run it to retrieve and view the records selected by the view. When you are satisfied with the view results, you can save the results view by specifying a name for the view.
To retrieve and view the results of a view

On the Query menu, click Run Query.
Visual FoxPro displays the results in a browse window.
To save the view

On the File menu, click Save As.

In the Save dialog box, type a name for the view.
Visual FoxPro adds a view definition containing the table names, selected fields, and property settings for the view to the current database.
